More Homeopathic Doctors Volunteer to help Flood Victim
Four homeopathic doctorss, three of them women have volunteered to help flood victims in South Thailand. This brings to eight the number of volunteers - from Doctor Without Barrier organised by The Registered malaysian Homeopathic Medical Practitioners association - now in Thailand.
They will be at Nakorn Si Thamarat province, the worst affected, for a month.
The first doctors, led by association president Dr Nik Omar bin Nik Daud, left for South Thailand a week ago. Dr Nik Omar returned three days ago to get fresh medical supplies. He returned o Tuesday with four volunteers. " We are trying our best to help victims," he said. "" Most suffer from fever, cold and cough and stomach aches. Our medical supplies have finished and we need more immediately."
The homeopathic doctors mission is sponsored by Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)
Dr Nik Omar said he has personally never seen flood conditiones like those in South Thailand. Most victims are living under zinc roofd and thousand are homeless, their home were completely destroyed."
