Four Set Out On Afghan Mission

Its was a quiet departmure early this morning for the group of Malaysian Homeopathic Volunteers, believed to be the first , to aid the Afghan refigees at the camps in Peshawar, pakistan. The four homeopaths waited enthusiastically for Flight PK773 for Pakistan via Bangkok at 12.55am. But the flight was delayed by toe hours. Yet they were not perturbed.

" We are loooking forward to the two months of experience," said the group leader Dr Nik Omar bin Nik Daud, the President Malaysian Homeopathic Medical Practitioners association-MRHP Malaysia.

Nik Omar 37, En Mohammad Khairuddin Hamid, En Mohammad Ali hamzah and Eb Ahmad Suhaimi are members of Malaysian Homeopathic Medical Practitioners Association.

" The refugees are badly in need of medical supplies. and we feel our knowledge in homeopathy will go a long way in helping them," said Nik Omar.

The four were sponsored by the association and from the public donations. A total $ 12,000 was collected from the public, while the association shipped in another $ 6,730.00
